────────────────────────────
INGREDIENTS
────────────────────────────

Dry Ingredients
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 2 tablespoons sugar
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/4 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients
• 3/4 cup milk
• 1 large egg
• 2 tablespoons melted butter or oil
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional Add-Ins
• Chocolate chips
• Blueberries
• Sliced bananas
• Cinnamon
• Chopped nuts

────────────────────────────
EQUIPMENT NEEDED
────────────────────────────

• Air fryer
• Heat-safe pan or ramekin that fits inside the air fryer
• Mixing bowl
• Whisk or fork
• Measuring cups and spoons

────────────────────────────
PREPARATION STEPS
────────────────────────────

Step 1: Prepare the Air Fryer Pan
Choose a pan that fits comfortably inside your air fryer basket.
Lightly grease the pan with butter or oil.
Set the pan aside while you prepare the batter.

Step 2: Mix the Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, add the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Whisk well so the ingredients are evenly distributed.
This ensures the pancake rises evenly.

Step 3: Mix the Wet Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
Make sure the butter is not too hot so it does not cook the egg.

Step 4: Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients
Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients.
Gently mix until just combined.
The batter should be slightly lumpy.
Overmixing will result in dense pancakes.

Step 5: Add Optional Ingredients
If using add-ins like chocolate chips or fruit, gently fold them into the batter now.
Avoid adding too many, as this can affect cooking.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
────────────────────────────

Step 6: Preheat the Air Fryer
Preheat the air fryer to 170°C / 340°F for 3 to 5 minutes.
Preheating helps the pancake cook evenly from the start.

Step 7: Pour Batter into the Pan
Pour the batter into the greased pan.
Spread it evenly using the back of a spoon.
Tap the pan gently on the counter to remove air bubbles.

Step 8: Cook the Pancake
Place the pan carefully into the air fryer basket.
Cook at 170°C / 340°F for 10 to 14 minutes.
Cooking time depends on the thickness of the pancake and the air fryer model.

Step 9: Check for Doneness
Insert a toothpick or knife into the center.
If it comes out clean or with a few crumbs, the pancake is done.
If the top browns too quickly, loosely cover with foil and continue cooking.

REMOVING AND SERVING
────────────────────────────

Carefully remove the pan from the air fryer using oven mitts.
Allow the pancake to rest for 2 to 3 minutes.
Gently loosen the edges and remove from the pan.
Slice and serve warm
