  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (if needed for browning)

Optional Add-Ins

  • 1 cup cauliflower rice (for texture similar to rice)
  • 4 oz cream cheese (for creamier variation)
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (for heat)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (for richer version)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Choosing the Best Ingredients

Ground Beef
Choose 80/20 ground beef for optimal flavor. Leaner beef works but may reduce richness.

Bell Peppers
